My grandparents invited my neighbors and me over for tea and cookies. I didn’t tell them that whenever Gran invites people over for tea and cookies, instead of just tea, she’s really inviting them over to try out some home cooking. She has probably been working on a new dish and wants to see if people will eat it. Earlier, when my neighbor, Emma came with me to Gran’s with her niece in tow. Gran took one look at the Sara and from that moment, Sara was hers! She and Sara chatted nonstop the whole time there were there. Grandma gave her one of her diabetic cookies that she made from scratch, and Sara was a fan. Emma told Gran all about Sara’s adventures for her sixth birthday, with lots of help from Sara of course. Grand told her Emma all about her natural home remedies that she loves to work on. She even gave Emma a suggestion about how to make her scalp stop flaking, since she mentioned it. She loves talking about her home remedies, and I knew she had one for dandruff. I’ve seen her use her remedy and so have I and I know it works.
