OPEN TO NEW EXPERIENCES

There was a time in my life where I was not a very convivial person. After a long day of backbreaking and tedious work I would drive to my apartment and make myself a cup of coffee. While sipping my drink I would contemplate on how my day went and I would record in a diary the routine of my schedule and all of its positives and negatives. I did this while sitting by my window, and I would look at every car and know that every person inside there has his or her own life. Each person has their own struggles and victories, and they are only one amongst the billions in this world. But each person has a purpose and they are not just living their lives for other people. A person should live their own life and every man has the ability to reach his goals. Sometimes this person cannot attain his achievements by himself, therefore needing a little or push from those around him. I am speaking from experience, because I was once one of the many who lived in a little box and functioned like a machine. It was only after I had help from my friends that I realized the importance of every second I live, and that in truth one instant in my life can change the course of my future. After I was truly introduced to the world around me I started to open up and truly see how great and exciting everything is. I try new things every day and I have an amazing time doing it. I’ve gone downtown for the first time, went to the Chicago bars, went car racing, jet skiing, skydiving, and so many other fun things. Life is now amazing and I live it to the fullest.
