ONE BIG MISTAKE

Perfect, my credit was perfect. Never late for a bill, never over-drawn, never a bounced check. I never made big money, I have always held middle class but regardless I had the credit. You wouldn’t believe how many credit card companies sent me letters of pre-approved and special offers. Yes, I know everybody gets them even people with credit down the toilet but I knew, I always knew I had it, perfect credit and they wanted it. It was one of those few things a guy like me could take pride in, not being a jock by any stretch of the imagination, no big successful lawyer here, nope no big money investor just good old middle class pet store manager here. But I had credit, in that I was a hero little as it was. But now with one little purchase, it wasn’t like I bought a Harley or any thing, it was just a Honda a little Honda scooter. No it was one of those damnable credit cards offered to me for by a Honda dealer. When I got it in the mail all I could see was my perfect credit and my own new yellow Honda scooter. But I could handle it I missed a payment, no more perfect credit and now I’m on the road to bankruptcy.
