I have been house searching and I finally think I have found the one for me. It’s a hud-house. It was foreclosed on because the people started re-doing the place then couldn’t afford to finish and left it as it is. Meanwhile it is a perfect fix-it-up, starter house. I am looking forward to the feelings of exhilaration from living in a house I put to perfection. I work for a company that advertises that they have been ‘building dreams since 1907’ and so I am pretty psyched to work on my own dream. My ultimate dream would be to build from scratch and I am sure that will come along in the future but right now I am more than content with what I have. The problem is that I don’t have much of a credit history. It’s not good or bad, just pretty much non-existent. So I need someone else to be a back up with my mortgage. My Dad said he would help but he’d have to check through his paperwork on bankruptcy laws because he had to file bankruptcy recently when his business was having financial trouble. Meanwhile he hooked up with some acquaintances and they have started this amazing program to bring in the bucks quick.
